Liquidreel
I occasionally get this weird pink looking thing on the floor in my tanks and I have no idea what it is. This is a planted 5 gallon with a Betta and Cherry Shrimp. I usually just remove it but I’m wondering what it is.
Patrick M. Bodega Aquatics
Do you think it could be uneaten / moldy food?

I feed the betta Vibra bites or pellets and watch him eat them. I have seen This once before in another of my tanks that has shrimp.

Brandy
I vote former shrimp too. One that has been picked at, partially, or fully consumed... It turns out that if a momma guppy goes on a shrimplet rampage her poops become scarlet, and large and chunky. Apparently shells don't break down so easily...I have found this out the hard way recently.😡
