tfwvusa
I got this 36 gallon bow front with all the equipment and stand included for only 75 bucks on Craigslist the other day and I now have it all setup the way I want and it's currently cycling. I have well water with a PH of 8.2 and I think I'm going to do a live bearer tank.
Streetwise
That's a heck of a good deal! How is your tank looking these days?
tfwvusa
The tank is wonderful I have a very active community of balloon mollies and different varieties of snails, all of which have been thriving. So much so that I am having to take mollies to the local fish store on a regular basis.
Streetwise
Wow, nice progress! I love how overgrown it has become. Nice work on the breeding.
Daniel
I like the before and after shots. I would buy whatever product made that happen. BlackLabelCarling
Beautiful tank! I love how natural and wild it looks! Welcome to the wild fish party!
tfwvusa
Thank you! That is exactly what I was going for. I did the very manicured look back in the early 2000s however this time I wanted to learn how to work with live plants plus I feel like the fish enjoy it more. I know the snails do lol. tfwvusa
Here is another tank I have setup this is a shrimp tank and they have been breeding like bonkers. All of the plants in this tank are clippings from plants in my other tanks.
Alison
I love both of your tanks! I am going for the wild water jungle look myself. I guess I dont mine my gardens underwater or not being a little wild and not manicured to within an inch of their lives. Nature is a little mess like me. Except weeds. Weeds are pulled with extreme prejudice.
