I’ve been frustrated by the rapidity of fungus growth on uneaten food in my 40 breeder (Electric Blue Acara breeders + Colombian Tetras).

It dawned on me tonight: _there are zero Malaysian trumpet snails in there_

So.. that changed! I moved about 60x mature ones over from my discus tank…

The two examples of when I’m not crazy about them. In a fine, light colored substrate. They show all the time but still do a good job. These are in angelfish breeder tank I have. I sell and trade them as  puffer food and clean up crew. One of the LFS puts them in with ghost shrimp, Otocinclus
