AquaDude
I have some baby fish in the tank, some about 3 weeks old, others a little over a month…are meds like general cure, erythromycin safe for the fry? I don’t have a quarantine tank. Suspecting there’s some wasting disease going on with some of the platys. :(

Mix powdered meds in a pitcher with water to dissolve larger particles. Livebearer fry are typically hardy. Once they’re over a month, fry typically are durable enough to withstand meds. 1

quikv6
The fry should be okay. If the general cure doesn't work (which, if it is indeed wasting disease, may not), then you may have to go with Levamisole.
