ccurtis
I have a single angel fish that I got almost a year ago. It is about the size of my palm now, maybe a little larger. I keep it in a 125 with a bunch of other community fish. All of the fish are thriving. I still have a lot of "room" in the tank and I would like to add a one or two more angel fish. How would I go about adding one or two more angels to the tank? Could I purchase baby angels and add them to the tank? Or should I shoot for something around the same size? Again I have multiple other fish in the tank, everything from as small as zebra danios up to full size denison barbs, and my current angel does not seem to bother any of them. I have read that Angels can be aggressive with each other when adding them to tank with angels in it already. Anyone have experience with this that can provide some insight? @Deando you have any advice?
Administrators Cory Posted September 27, 2020 Administrators Share Posted September 27, 2020 You don't have to buy the same size, typically something 50 cent piece size or larger will do ok. I'd add 2-3 to spread any aggression that may happen. Do a partial water change before hand and feed while adding them so fish are distracted by food instead of the new tank mates.
