David D
Any suggestions on how to lure a yoyo loach to the top of a planted and decorated tank, so I can net him and relocate to another tank, he is all alone and nipping at the fins of my angels
Fish Folk
Maybe other folks have better suggestions… I’d move out the Angels temporarily, then mute / dim tank lighting, and turn all room lights off. Do not feed the loach for 1-2 days. Then place a large net in with food inside the net where you can see it clearly. Let the loach find the food in the net, and scoop it out. They’re more active with low lighting. Even can be lively at night. My guess is that your Angels, that get stationary at night, are getting nipped when the loach is more active.
David D
I tied a piece of hotdog to my net, he went right in for it. Thanks for the idea, I didn't even need to wait till dark or starve him lol
