Patrick_G
I think I know the answer but I’d like some input. This Crypt Balansae is pot bound, but looks healthy and I think it’s in it’s submerged form already. I’m pretty sure I’m going to cut off the excess roots and plant it in the substrate. Would it survive if left in the pot? Edited July 7, 2021 by Patrick_G
KBOzzie59
It would probably survive. But I bet a nice small pair of diagonal cutters would make short work of that basket.

lefty o
it would survive, but likely not be happy. i agree cutters or a shop scissors will cut that pot up into pieces for removal.
