Barefoot Aquatics
I have 2 125g tanks with leaks in a bottom seam. Should I just strip and seal or completely disassemble and rebuild?
lefty o
silicone generally doesnt stick to already cured silicone very well, so it is usually recommended to break it down and reseal the whole thing.
CalmedByFish
Clarifying: Is the problem the seam (the glue that holds the pieces of glass together), or is the problem the seal (the touchable squishy silicone that keeps the water off the seams)? Edit: wrong vocab Edited July 4, 2021 by CalmedByFish
