Rudles
Would this be a good place to trim my Scarlet Temple? It's 9" tall from the surface of the substrate. My substrate is about 6" deep. 2" of organic soil with a perimeter of Eco-Complete followed by 2" of sand and capped with 2" of gravel.

It looks to me like it’s growing “leggy” because it’s not getting good light down low. Happens on a handful of our low light or deeper tanks. Water really cuts down light the deeper a tank is. You could cut it just below that node, and it might shoot out roots. Scarlet Temple has never worked in my water. I wish you good success!!
