Guppy Tore a Hole in Its Tail

My guppy tore a hole in its tail. But the fin that is ripped is still attached. Looks like a window.

10 gallons, temp 75, pH 7.6, gh 8, kh 4, 0/0/20

most likely done because he always fight with the other male.

will it heal despite some part dragging? Is there something I should do?

It should heal up just fine on it's own. Just watch it for any signs of fuzz or irritation, but it will most likely be ok.

I would concur with @H.K.Luterman. You most likely have to do nothing but keep up with your water changes. Maybe a little aquarium salt could help him along the way but not really necessary.

Thank you! What bothers me is the part dragging. The tail tore in a square shape and the tore part is still attached and dragging
