  1. Hello everyone I just purchased two of the kasa wifi timers and I’m a bit confused on setting the schedule. I have a fluval aquasky which has sunrise and sunset and I’m trying to do the same on this but I feel like I’m doing something wrong I’ll post a picture of what I have hopefully someone with some knowledge can help. Basically I want my sunrise to go from 7 to 8 a.m. and then sunset from 3 to 4p.m.
  2. Hey everyone, just wanted to ask members of the forum that has the kasa wifi timer. Lets say I set the kasa to turn on at 7am. If my internet is not on until 9am, does the kasa still follow through with the programing and turn on at 7am? I ask this because the last wifi timer I had will not follow the programing if there is no wifi, even though the program is set in the app and presumably stored on the timer.
  3. Electricity flickered (thanks southern Vermont) and all my new Kasa WiFi Light Timers turned on despite being set to off based on scheduling. I'm not sure what to think because we have not infrequent regular electric flickers (like at least one a week). It makes me think I should have stayed with 1970s tech timers.
  4. Just a quick thought on wifi timers. I have just installed an ro/di filter and got everything set up plumbed in and running great just last night. I was feeling proud, I have a pump connected to the reservoir and plugged into a wifi timer so I can turn the pump off and on as I go from tank to tank, Upon waking up this morning I found water everyware, discovered that the timer had been used for a light and turned on, pumping all my ro/di water out and on the floor! So double check your schedules and be aware! Food for thought! Logan
  5. You just have to love how these things work. They automatically adjusted to Standard Time last night, they reset to the current time if the power goes out and you can control them remotely with your cell phone. Well worth the price.
  6. When using the wifi timer for lights, do most of you plug in only one light, or is it ok to plug in an entire power strip to the timer? I want to make sure that doesn't qualify as "daisy chaining."
