Update:
My family member informed me that the bronze cory unfortunately did not make it 😞 However they have made plans to get a larger tank and rehome some of the fish. I just wanted to thank all of you who helped.

Whew this was a hard one and almost didn't guess it.

0 KH is always a concern, as it could be resulting in a PH crash. For example, you measured it PH at 6.5. I am curious what the PH is out of the tap. It could be significantly higher, but can plummet and fluctuate due to 0 KH. That can certainly stress fish out and cause issues.
my areas water has no kh out of the tap. I'll definitely get them some crushed coral and let them know the benefits. The ph is 6.5 and the gh is 0 which is weird because after retesting it shows their aquarium as having 180.

The high levels of nitrates you have can effect a fish immune system I would do a 50 water change to get them below 40
Alright I'll get a water change done, it is incredibly overstocked. They have 1 Siamese algae eater, 1 teacup platy, 3 albino bronze cory's, 6 neon tetras, and 6 white cloud mountain minnows all in a 5 gallon vertical rectangular tank. Any ideas for how to tell them that they need to destock their tank?
-
Hi @Colu I tested the water and here are the results
Gh 180 ppm
Kh 0 ppm
Ph 6.5
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 80 ppm
I unfortunately have no ammonia test so there is no way to have that number, the infection sight has gotten a little larger and more red since yesterday. They ordered the Kanaplex and said it would be at their house in 2 days.

Well this one was so hard, I had no idea what it was since the landmass was not unique at all /s

@ColuThanks so much I will order some kanaplex for them. I'll also try to get a test kit and post the results.

Hi all,
I am posting this for one of my family member's.
They have a 5 gallon (which is pretty overstocked) I was not able to get any of the water tested but most of the fish and the other bronze cory's appeared healthy and active.
This one is not moving to much and according to them stops moving at times. I think it might be a wound from a growth but am not sure. Im not sure how to best advise them as to care for this beyond the normal aquarium salt, antibacterial and antifungal dosing.
Here are some photos I took at the time.
Any help appreciated.
Water Quality Update
So I tested the water this morning for them and here the results.
Gh 180 ppm
Kh 0 ppm
Ph 6.5
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 80 ppm

@Patrick_G Great job. I had no Idea what this could be until I remembered that Julius Cease stopped at a small village of present day Monaco to end his Greek campaign and that it was in maritime alps.

Looks like it might be a pond snail or a juvenile one.

@GuppysnailNot sure if your interested but I bought this for sunglasses when the pandemic started to keep them from fogging. It will probably work on a glass magnifying glass as well.

I would watch for fungus and try to get some plant friendly anti bacterial and fungal medications. As long as no infection occurs he should be fine although it might scar.

@GuppysnailWould a head based one work? I bought something similar to this Link and it's my go to for most work that needs both hands.

I've been enjoying this one as well! Got it in 3 today. All those fjords certainly helped narrow down the area to look.
I do use a map, but usually after my first guess. I would never get it without a map.
And a helpful hint, try not to use large countries to triangulate. When the answer was Ukraine sometime last week it told me it was thousands of km away from Russia. It must go by the center of the country or something?
Glad your enjoying it. I have no Idea what they use to calculate distance I though it was the capitol but I know that moscow is not over a thousand miles from kyiv. I've never used a map before to solve it before, but I will admit this is one of my first correctly solved ones.

Hi all, I was inspired by @Patrick_G's Worlde Thread and have decided to share a version of Wordle That I have been Playing.
This Version is called Worldle and consists of geography instead of words, I have had an incredibly fun time playing this game.
I dedicate this thread to fellow forum members so that they can post their results of this fun game which can be found at this Link
Though I would start out posting todays successful attempt

The detritus worms are in almost every aquarium so theres nothing to you can do to stop them. I see as an actual benefit to the aquarium they eat bits of stuff that I would normally need to gravel vac, and keep the aquarium healthy. They also serve as a good barometer of waste in the tank when they show up for a few days that usually means your overfeeding, have a large amount of organic waste, and need do a water change and cleaning.
