I used the mops for cover they were pretty skittish at first. I was going to remove them eventually. I use them all over the fish room ❤️ spawning mops!!

Thank you for your input!!! that was my first impression! as well. my fingers are crossed I don't plan on doing anything with these but my next step was to add a piece of slate. I got extremely lucky fi these guys are in fact a pair 🙂

Hey guys, just wanted some opinions on whether these angelfish eggs look fertile or not. I got 2 Pearl scale sunset angelfish(that's what I'm calling them lol) for Fathers Day they are orange and white) the LFS told me they were a male and female but are not paired together. so I tried my luck anyways. They are always following each other around the tank. And today When I went to go feed them I saw these on the Heater cord. This is my first time dealing with angels. looked like one of them was cleaning them, always closer then the other? Thank you in advance!

Hey guys after a long time of wanting to give this a try I finally got around to it. I used a 15 gallon tank instead of a 20 long for space conservation. I found some cheap containers at Target that worked out perfectly! other odds and ends i either had around the house or bought at a local Petco. Thank you to Master breeder dean for his awesome ideas. hopefully i soon have loads of fry so i can try it out! Still haven't tried the pump out so there will be an other video to come!

Not sure what day they hatched but I figured I would get another video of these little guys. They are on bbs and I take a bit of sera micron mix with tank water and pipette it next to them.

Haha yes good eye!! I have a colony of 9 L134 in the 40B I have 6 L236 in the 20 long and 8 L046 in a 10 gallon quarenteeing/growing out.

Hey guys just wanted to share a short video. after a couple months of hovering went away for a 3 day vacation and was welcomed with these guys.....

I hit it with a dose of ezethomycyn the one api makes because it was the only thing they had at my Local Petco. Kanaplex will be here hopefully tomorrow.

No visible spots. I thought I saw some bumps but no white spots One of them looks like they might have something funky with its eyes The last picture was of the fish with the eyes but You really can’t see it in that pic

One theory I had was, possibly ick, but then this pleco also died being stuck between caves(unrelated)? but I haven't touched the tank in months. so confused.

Hey guys just looking for some opinions/ ideas, I have grown my L134 colony in the past year to 12 fish. for the past 6/8 months the tank was perfect no problems. All the fish did there usual thing hid and eat hid and eat. they have grown out beautifully. fast forward till 2 weeks ago. i made the cardinal sin of not quarantining new pencil fish :(. I noticed the plecos out and about an flashing so I ran to my local pet store and immediately started treating for ick with tetra ick guard. I know i know i didn't get ick x in time.... started last Thursday kept doing water changes and adding more ick guard followed directions to the T. weekend was ok then Monday I lost 2 pencil fish. This morning looked at the tank and had a dead pleco and a dead pencil fish. on lunch ran home and found another dead pleco stuck between 2 caves. I'm at a loss there are no real signs on ick and the dead pleco looked healthy and clean. should i stop and treat for something else??? most of the plecos look like they are back to normal except for one that seems to be always out and it looks kind like there is something up with his eyes. Any suggestions or word of encouragement are greatly appreciated. and sorry for ranting.

thank you for your response ODD DUCK! 1. that was what I was thinking 😞 I do have an air system and can jack up the air pressure pretty good. or maybe fit a 5 gallon gravel filter in the 10 gallon tank. hmm 2. that was another concern of mine the penplax under gravel filter looks like it has a good size grate but then i was thinkin i might have to use the dremel or the mill to make them a bit larger. Hey guys hope everyone is doing well and safe!, I ran across accouple YouTube videos of people making DIY egg collectors and was intrigued! Its basically an area in the tank that catches eggs and it will have an airline tube creating suction to a catch cup. So when your egg scatter's lay eggs they are virtually sucked up and collected. it sounds genius! So immediately my mind was racing.......... what if I was to use an under gravel filter? What I am thinking is you'd place the under gavel filter in to your tank and somehow mount a catch cup to the outlet on the under gravel vac. I Personally have never used an under gravel filter does anyone have experience with them do they create sufficient suction for my idea? I might have to just bite the bullet and purchase one my self for the sake of science... Thank you guys in advance for all input, comments or opinions. maybe I'm just wasting my time.

L236 group should be here this week! they are about 2 inches long. i will re evaluates in a couple weeks and see if the person selling the 397 still has them. AHHH might need to get another rack lol

So I have the opportunity to purchase a group of 6 L397 or a group of 6 L236 RB . Ill post pictures. these are the L236( these fish have the potential to produce the SW (superwhites) the mother is a sw and the father is a regular RB. and they ae close to the ZEBRA PLECO in species Which one day i would love to have in the fish room! would be good practice!! these are the L397. They are wood eating type pf pleco Looking for more of opinions than anything else both groups are young and ill defiantly have along road ahead but I'm excited to bring in some new fish to the fish Room. Both groups are also similarly priced maybe a touch less for L236. Thank you in advance for any and all input!

possible the female is sexually mature and the male just isnt?
