  1. I would say the tube is about 18in and the intake is probably 1.5-2in from the bottom. Needed room for the sponge.
  2. On my tub (black tub) the outlet is about an inch from the water surface.
  3. Would I be good to keep an eye on the rest of the tank and move them if they show symptoms of the bacterial infection?
  4. pH 7.6 Nitrates 25 Hardness 150 Nitrite 0 Ammonia 0 KH/Buffer 120 Water Temperature 78
  5. I have taken it down for now, as I want to put some silicone around the joints to ensure no leakage. And when I get a bigger pump I will update on here. Maybe I'll find a way to send ya a video.
  6. I assume this to be a fungal infection. White fluffy looking substance. I only see it on 2 of my many fish. I isolated them In a quarantine tank (2.5gal) I dosed about a 1/4 packet of marcyn and a little more than 1ml of IchX. The one coop article said you let this be for a week. Would be be correct dosages? Can you overdose these two meds?
  7. Okay, so I tried the (what I thought to be a bigger pump) other pump I had and it did nothing. I tried the whisper 10 I had and it gives me a small trickle. I tried to upload a video of it but it wouldn't allow me too. Here is a picture of it. It is steady. Do you think this is enough?? I think I would still want a bigger pump
  8. Okay, I assume I'll have the same issue. I'll update when I learn more.
  9. So I when I used the nano USB pump there was no flow. I tested with a tetra pump I had laying around and I have a small trickle. I have a bigger pump I will try after I adjust the airstone.
  10. I do have another piece of pipe, but the thing is - I have already glued the joints so I'd have to buy another union. I'm gonna try it with a bigger air pump I have and see what happens. If it still doesn't work, I might need to just get a new union and start over. The pipe on the inside is 1in. Like Dean had used.
  11. @Brandon phow much flow is yours producing? I got mine to flow a little bit with a larger air pump, but I'm afraid it won't be enough. Do you have a video of your flow you could share?
  12. @Brandon pIt flattens slightly where it meets the rim of the bucket.
  13. Would making the bubbles finer or larger increases the lift? Or do you know?
  14. I think I'm just gonna have to use a bigger air pump. I just want to make sure there is enough flow.
  15. @KentFishFanUKit is down at the elbow.
  16. @Hobbit I tried it on a sponge filter in another tank and it works fine. I'm starting to think it may not be powerful enough to get the lift I need.
  17. @Cory I am using the 3/4in pipe like Dean used, as well as the ziss airstone. And the tub is full, about 2in from the top.
  18. Follow up...I am using a nano USB air pump? Is this maybe why?
  19. I built the muck bucket pond that Dean built and I'm having trouble getting the flow. Any ideas why I may not be getting the flow? @Dean’s Fishroom@Cory
  20. I know this doesn't look like your typical salt water aquarium. I am putting in life rock very soon. Anyway...idk if you can tell, but does anyone know why there is algae growing on the substrate on the left side of the ship, but none on the right? Does the power head have anything to do with it?
  21. @Candi @Cory thank you! No worries! I'll keep checking back in.
  22. Does anyone know if there is a way to get notified when an out of stock item it available to order through the co op? @Candi @Cory
  23. @KeegOkay thank you. Then it probably has something to do with my tank being blacked out for a while while I was fighting some hair algae! I'll slowly bring the light back to the tank.
  24. I had PSC plants in my tank and many of the stems got real soft down near the substrate and they break off from the rest of the plant. It is almost as if they rot in the middle of the stem. Any idea why they do this?
