  1. Thank you! Where can I buy these two meds levamasole and praziquantal? Sorry but to clarify, how much levamasole should I add into the tank? In week one, three, and 5: you add Levamosole every 24 hours and after siphoning do you add Levemasole again with prazi?
  2. Hello fishkeepers, I was observing my fish tank just now and I observed my boliviam ram anus was protuding and I saw these tiny little strings on its anus, looks like worms. Is this camallanus worms? Please, if it is, how can I successfully treat it? I have had him for almost a month now and this is the first time I see this. Once treatment is over, should I break down the whole tank and bleach it before putting them back in there again? Thank you in advance
  3. Thank you so much @Colu! I really appreciate it! I will add more crushed coral to the tank and salt. Thanks again! ๐Ÿ™‚
  4. Sorry about that, I have made my video temporarily public on youtube. Please let me know if you can see it. Thank you for replying @Colu I've been adding crushed coral but so far it has increased the Ph but only increased the Kh by a little. I'm going to add more though. Thanks again
  5. https://youtube.com/shorts/P73lY3SSYn0?feature=share Hello @Colu, I have been treating my molly in a separate 10 gallon tank for a week and right now there are 2 tablespoons of aquarium salt in there and some crushed coral that I have slowly been adding into this tank to increase the Kh. I wish I could say that she has recovered but unfortunately there hasn't been any improvement in her health. Earlier this week she seemed to be struggling to swim and today she started swimming on her side. About two days ago she was swimming through the bottom of the tank but she would once in a while stay still in a spot. I have provided a video of how she has been swimming today. Please let me know if you are able to see it. What should I do? I really want to help her recover but I don't know how. ๐Ÿ˜ข She really has been giving it her all to survive and I want to help her. Yesterday I tested the water parameters using the Freshwater Master Test kit and this is what I got: - Ammonia: 0 ppm - pH: 7.6 -High range pH: 7.4 - Kh: 53.7 ppm ( 3 drops) Thank you in advance
  6. Thank you so much! @Colu I'm going to put her in a separate 10 gallon tank and add some salt and buy some crushed coral to help increase the kH. Do you think I should also use Fritz Maracyn 2 for bacterial infections in her hospital tank? Can I add both the salt and this medication at the same time in the tank?
  7. Thank you @Colu for replying, I really appreciate it. I'm going to purchase some crushed corals to increase the kH. I added some more pictures, its very hard to take a clear picture of her eyes but these are what I was able to take. Its been awhile since she last gave birth and currently, there are no males on the tank because I took them out and put them in another tank. Do you think the low kH is what caused her to become ill? I've had her for about 9 months and she was fine but just recently she started becoming less active and became ill. What do you recommend me to do to treat her?
  8. Hello fishkeepers, Hope everyone had a great weekend! I have a molly that I have had for 9 months that has been acting abnormal lately. She use to be very active and currently she is still eating but I noticed recently that she hides sometimes, is less active, and sometimes I see her resting on the substrate on the bottom of the tank. She occasionally swims around the tank but not like she use to and I find her lying on the substrate which is very unusual of her. I'm not sure but I also think one of her eyes are a bit swollen. I think she could possibly have popeye but not sure. I'm not sure what she has. How should I treat her? I did a 40% water change this past Friday even though there was No Ammonia, Nitrite, and nitrates were low. I have a 30 gallon community tank with some platys, mollys, 1 bolivian ram and 1 Dwarf flag Cichlid. They all get along just fine. I do not see any aggression on this tank. She is also not pregnant, there are no males on this tank. Tested water parameters on Friday using the API Freshwater Master test kit: - Nitrate: 10 or 20 ppm - Ammonia: 0 ppm - Nitrite: 0 ppm - pH: 7.0 - Kh: 2 drops (35.8 ppm) - Gh: 6 drops ( 107.4 ppm) Did a 40% water change afterwards. Thank you in advance
  9. WOW! Your fish are so beautiful, their colors are really popping! I don't have many nearby local fish stores, the few that are nearby are saltwater which have a small freshwater section but they do not have a lot of variety and the fish don't look healthy and don't look nothing like your fish. Your fish look really healthy, I can tell you and your son take really good care of them and love this hobby. You guys are definitely selling quality fish! That's awesome that you and your son breed fish and are in this hobby together. Its great because you both spend time together doing what you both love. I've never seen these fish before, only guppies but the guppies I've seen look nothing like yours. I might be getting another tank soon, hopefully I do. If I do, I'm interested in purchasing from you guys. I would love to add these fish in a future tank.
  10. Thank you for sharing! Iโ€™m new to the hobby and this was very helpful because I can also add lots of plants inside my tank like the first video to reduce the chance of fish getting bullied and make it a more peaceful environment for them where they can hide. Iโ€™m really loving this hobby! Those tanks on both of these videos are beautiful! Do you sell fish? Do you sell Purple Smilers" (Laetacara araguaiae)?
  11. Thank you so much for replying! Iโ€™m going to have a Plan B just in case they donโ€™t get along but hopefully they do. Thanks again ๐Ÿ˜Š
  12. Hello fishkeepers, Has anyone kept a bolivian ram with a Dwarf Flag Cichlid (Laetacara curviceps) in a community tank? I wanted to add 1 bolivian ram and 1 Dwarf Flag Cichlid (Laetacara curviceps) in my 30 gallon community tank with platys and mollies but will they all get along? If these two cichlids won't get along, what other dwarf cichlid can I keep with 1 bolivian, platys, and mollies? Thank you in advance
  13. This is also a good idea, I'm going to ask them if they can bring me some driftwood, hopefully they help me out. Thank you! ๐Ÿ™‚
  14. Thank you so much! I'm going to check out the local landscaping places๐Ÿ™‚ Thank you!๐Ÿ™‚ Thank you for sharing, I'm going to check out this website๐Ÿ™‚ Yes, in the few websites that I saw that sold wood, they were very expensive. I'm going to search in shorelines to see if I find myself some wood. Thank you for sharing!!๐Ÿ™‚
  15. Thank you! ๐Ÿ™‚ Where can I see the items your selling? Thank you, Iโ€™ll check it out ๐Ÿ™‚ Iโ€™m going to search if there is one I could go too and drive there, Thank you for replying ๐Ÿ™‚

  19. Hello everyone, hope everyone is having a great week so far. For those that use a water pump for water changes, which brand do you guys use? I'm currently using buckets for water changes and have been on the look out for a good water pump but I wanted to know what you experienced fish keepers use. Thank you in advance
  20. It really does, I have back pain after each water change. Thank you and thank you for providing the link! Thank you!
  21. Hello everyone, Hope everyone is having a great weekend so far. I'm new to the hobby and I'm currently using a gravel vac and a bucket to drain the water out of my 30 gallon fish tank for my weekly water changes. I wanted to know what equipment you experienced fish-keepers use to do your water changes? Any water pumps you guys recommend? I heard some people use these but haven't been able to find one that has good reviews. Thank you in advance ๐Ÿ™‚
