20 gal Peruvian Tank? Any suggestions?

Im going to be starting a 20 gal long Peruvian tank. I was thinking pencilfish and some corys. Any other ideas would be great!

Are you looking into a general community aquarium of fish from Peru, or are you looking for specific biotopes of fish? Here are several species of fish that you could look into for a general peaceful community (all species listed will be easy to find in a big box pet store or a local fish store. I did not include fish that I wouldn't expect to easily find in a store):

• The blue tetra (Boehlkea fredcochui). Some sources say it's a fin nipper or food aggressive, while others say it is a peaceful community fish. You can make the decision here.
• The penguin tetra (Thayeria boehlkei). It's in a similar situation as the blue tetra.
• Various Moenkhausia species can be found in Peru, but not any that are common in the hobby. The red-eye tetra (Moenkhausia sanctaefilomenae) looks very similar to much more rare species found in Peru, so it would serve as a great substitute.
• Marbled hatchetfish (Carnegiella strigata).
• Eques pencilfish (Nannostomus eques)
• A few common Corydoras species that live in Peru: C. adolphoi, C. aeneus, C. agassizi, C. arcuatus, C. elegans, C. panda, C. rabauti, C. trilineatus.
• A few common Apistogramma species that live in Peru: A. agassizi, A. cacatuoides, A. panduro.
• Various Ancistrus species can be found in Peru.
