Cycling tank and vacuuming

What are your guys opinion on gravel vacuuming during a fish in cycle?  Do or Don't?

I would only spot vacuum where things look unsightly, just for aesthetic purposes. Though that’s the only way I gravel vac anyway. 😆 

Though if you’re having an ammonia spike and there’s a ton of new poop, it would be wise to try to get that out of there. Any old mulm I’d leave alone to feed the bacteria.
