Kat_Rigel
Hey all, just looking to confirm: my understanding is that species from the same genus (ex. Guppies and mollies,) can cross breed. Similarly, we would be surprised if species from different genus interpreted, correct? I am specifically thinking of putting some limia in with some guppies and I hate the thought of mutts when each species is so beautiful on its own. I suspect they would be fine together.
Fish Folk
Guppies and Mollys are the same Genus. Limia are same Family, but different Genus. Went down this rabbit hole once trying to cross Guppies with Mosquitofish. Doesn’t seem to happen.
