Martin
Good morning all! I've had my planted tank up for almost a month with everything going well, however I've been noticing spots developing on the leaves of all my Bacopa Caroliniana (below). They are otherwise growing and looking healthy with new leaves and shoots from the top. Just wanted to know if this was a normal thing or something I need to address. Thank you in advance! Administrators Cory Posted February 11, 2021 Administrators Share Posted February 11, 2021 Looks like possibly some algae from the pictures. Hard to say from just 1 picture. Shrimp and snails could probably clean it up.
Martin
Thanks Cory! Too bad all my shrimp and snails are LAZY.

Martin
Hi @Mmiller2001 Actually, no. Low tech tank. I do give about half a squirt of EZ Green and 1ml of Seachem Flourish with each water change though. Edited February 12, 2021 by Martin

Martin
It's currently on a 12H timer at about 50 to 75% intensity.

See how it goes. Make sure everything is growing well. Keep an eye on older growth. Those are the places you will see those "spots".
