Nomad
I just got my nerite snails and 11 Rili shrimp. The first day the shrimp were all over the place exploring but its been two days and now I struggle to find them. I haven't found any bodies so I know their alive. Is this normal? H.K.Luterman
They might be molting and laying low as they grow accustomed to your water/setup. When I first got shrimp I did notice they hid when I first got them, but within a few weeks after they start breeding, you'll see tons.
Kirsten
Don't have experience with Rili, but my experience with ghost shrimp, amano, even bamboo shrimp is now-you-see-them, now-you-don't. I wouldn't be concerned. They're just settling in.
JettsPapa
It's common for neos to swim around when introduced to a new tank, but then settle down to grazing on biofilm. After that they'll only swim around when moving to a different location to graze some more (except when a female molts and has eggs ready to fertilize, then the males will swim around looking for her).
Harpsandfish
You have to be sure to confiscate their DHD so they can’t leave via the Stargate.
