Bruno Nothing
Hello! Thank you for taking the time to read my question! I need new lights on a 125 gal tank, 18 X 24 X 72” planted cichlid. I am replacing some terrible clearance LED’s from a box store. The top has 3 lid sections across the top. Should I buy 2X 36”‘a or 3X 24”‘s??!! I am considering the Fluval Plant 3.0 thank you!!!!!!! Dandy Pearl
I purchased a 24" light for a 30" tank and am disappointed by the lack of light at the edges. I should have purchased 2x15" to go edge to edge. That said it depends on what you plan on doing with your tank. Do you want 2 lighting zones or 3? Do you want to manage 2 lights or 3? Good luck with your tank!
FishyJames
If the top was made for 3, that's what I would do... But its not my money I'm spending :-). You are lucky, I don't have the space for a 125. Good luck.
ChefConfit
I would either do 1 light across the entire tank or 1 light per section. If you do 2 lights they would end in the middle of a section and where would they rest?
