karanit
I have a 10 gallon that I want to leave the water level a little lower to grow some floating plants in when it's not doubling as a hospital tank. Is there a way to get the uplift tube shorter? Perhaps just by cutting it with a saw?
GoofyGarra
The uplift tube could be cut with a saw or PVC cutter. Alternatively you could flip the uppermost curved piece of the uplift tube upside down so that the short end is attached to the sponge filter instead of the long end. Guppysnail
I’ve cut down roughly 30. Long way I was using a serated kitchen knife. Then I kicked my brain into gear and used my dremel. They cut like butter. I cut the entire assembly here
