JoeQ
Are there any Cons to an air stone being located closely next to a heater? I'm not sure if this would affect the heater negatively or be a positive by circulating the water around it. Edited September 3 by JoeQ
Odd Duck
I can’t think of any reason why it would be an issue other than potentially causing mineral build up on the controller / dial if it isn’t fully submersed. Circulation around the heater is good.
AllFishNoBrakes
I intentionally put my heaters next to my sponge filters to actively circulate the heat. With the Easy Flow kits I believe it’s even better. I wouldn’t hesitate to put an air stone next to a heater. In my opinion, it’s favorable to distribute the heat through the tank.

lefty o
it helps to keep water moving, its a positive. being next to/under the heater helps to minimize stratification.
