RyanR
I've only bought fish online and have never bought snails online. I just purchased some Nerite snails online and wanted to know if I should drip acclimate them when they come in? Whitecloud09
That or just acclimate them the normal way. 15 mins or so and then put in, up to you imo.

beastie
I do drip acclimate but one of my suppliers has a recommendation to put the snail (nerite) on a floating mat on the surface that is little bit wet and let them get acquainted with the water and start moving on their own 2
Whitecloud09
Drip acclimate, plop drop, or even @beastie said about a floating mat is A ok. Your choice honestly! @RyanR.
mynameisnobody
Temp acclimate and plop and drop, spend the extra time doing other stuff.
TOtrees
I figure anything with an operculum can sort of acclimate itself, if it wants. Almost any snail without an operculum is what most of us consider a pest snail, aka indestructible (eg ramshorn, pond snail...). Plop and drop.
