Zeaqua
Hi all! I suppose the title is self-explanatory, but recently I hatched some Cory eggs in a catch cup using methylene blue, and now it is fairly cloudy instead of clear. How would I go about cleaning it? Administrators Cory Posted June 24 Administrators Share Posted June 24 Some people soak it in white vinegar to restore the clarity. Usually the cloudy is from minerals on the plastic from the water.
Maximus
I've noticed that the blue stain just eventually goes away, but I also use mine to catch the BBS saltwater so maybe that's helping speed it along.
Zadie
hello there To remove the cloudiness; first place the eggs in a separate container with clean water. then next wash the catch cup to remove any remaining blue dye and sand. Fill the cup with fresh water, and make sure the temperature matches the previous situations to avoid amazing the eggs. You can also use an air stone to boost oxygen levels and keep the water circulation, resulting in in clarity. I hope this will helpful for you 😊
