khongor
Hello everyone. I've been using ParaGuard from seachem for 7 days now. My 1 neon with stomach parasite seems to be getting worse. Any idea how long treatment should be? I'm dozing as directed on the bottle. 1 bottle cup per 10 gal.
Tony s
Possibility that this is the wrong medication for an internal parasite. Supposed to treat parasites on the body of the fish. Polygard might be better. @Colu

Paraguard only treats some types of external parasite if your fish has internal parasite I would recommend treating with a combination of Fritz expel p active ingredient levamisole and prazipro active ingredient praziquantel following oddduck treatment protocol for parasitic infections what symptoms are you seeing that make you suspect a parasitic infections
khongor
Thank you for education. It's stomach has a bump that moves sometimes and very skinny. Can neons find flakes in darkness to eat? I should keep feeding during black out? Edited June 13 by khongor

You only black out the tank for 24 HR when treating with levamisole so I wouldn't feed when the tanks blacked out
