Watched video on Sponges for filter and want to purchase 4white + black tube

I have not used my 29 gallon fish tank in years and want to set it up again. I have the water changed and rocks cleaned. I have that filter you don't like, but I am sticking with it. Glad to know won't need to replace the carbon cartridges!
