3x pairs of Etheostoma zonale (Banded Darters) arrived today from my favorite NANF dealer…

Within 30 minutes of adding to their new digs, they began spawning…

I’m already seeing eggs…

💥 BOOM 💥

Got Etheostoma zonale fry -- pelagic phase!

Here's a better look after I added ca. 1-liter of vernal pond water loaded with nice organisms. (I'm explaining them to my young boys here 😅)
