svachon9 Posted March 29 Share Posted March 29 I've researched and cannot find what my phosphate levels should be for a planted low tech tank. I've read 1-2 ppm and I've read <.5. ppm and I've read 3-5 ppm. So which one is it? I tested high over 5 ppm but I just scraped my tank for algae and probably had some of that in the water column. Im at 2 every other day, (plus whatever is in my tap) for a moderately planted with medium light. 2-3ppm for a sparsely planted tank just seems high.
