Epiphanaea
So, this is Pancake, as of a couple weeks ago. He(?) was acquired from Petco about a year ago, as a “rubberlip pleco”. I had not really narrowed down an L# for him as I have no plans to breed so it didn’t really matter, but I was leaning toward him likely being L187, a bulldog pleco. This is Pancake today. I did recently do a very thorough clean-out of the tank, which is a 40g, shared with 2 fancy goldfish, one about 4”, one about 5 1/2”, two airstones, Seachem Tidal 75, large river rock substrate, he has a driftwood ‘cave’, lots of plants, water parameters stay perfect with very little messing around required, hence a large water change being unusual - happened because I’d gone too long between vacuumings and was having a diatom bloom. So, um, thoughts? What is he? Should I be finding him a lady, if he’s something unusual? EDIT: found him! https://www.loricariidae.info/chaetostoma-sp-l276 Edited March 23 by Epiphanaea
