Guppysnail
These have been a someday fish for me for a long time. I finally picked up a group of 12 at my LFS last week. The tank they are in was a temporary hold for unpaired Laetacara curviceps. It’s ugly and needs cleaned. Goal today or tomorrow is to get these plants into tanks. Cold is kicking my butt though. These are just babies. This is what they look like as adults. They are close cousins of Danio margaritatus-CPD that I’ve bred for years. Once they grow up I should easily get lots of babies. I do wonder why they are called emerald because their stripes are royal blue???? New kids in ugly tank 4

Guppysnail
I forgot how young danios start going at it. Added a bunch of pogo to the tank to fill it in yesterday. Today I saw the boys sparring. I put in a collection cup and they were checking it out the minute my hand left the tank. 3
Bsquared
These are on my list too. I want to try to do an automatic egg collection setup for these and some CPDs someday!

Guppysnail
There are some bbs and shrimplettes in there that got sucked into the breeder net. Look near the bottom for the fry. 1

Mr Gumby
They are great looking fish and I have them in with CPD's in a 20 gallon with lots of Crypts. In total there are around 40 fish in the tank and if I'm really lucky I spot one or two a day! Even tried adding endlers to the tank as dithers but they still hide 😞

If I hover over them or am eye level they feel threatened Also try putting a ball of moss in a front corner. They should come out each morning and spawn in it.
