guppy breeding

As mentioned above, color and fin shape don't matter, but I would like to mention that some guppy strains will ignore fry, and others are relentless fry hunters (looking at you, albino koi guppies).  I'm not familiar with the female you mentioned, so I don't know what would happen with yours.

whatever guppy that catches your eye can be a good breeding project. especially if you mix and match color strains, they can produce endless variations.

If you are buying from petco then they are highly likely to be mutts so whatever interests you is best. That's always best anyway because it will be more fun for you.
