lefty o
its just a bacteria/fungus, and it is non harmful. it is absolutely normal with spider wood, and it will go away on its own. to speed it up, you can pull it and wipe/rinse it off, or fish will also nibble at it. its unsightly, but dont worry about it. Tony s
Bacterial bloom. perfectly normal for driftwood. not harmful to fish. you could take it off, but its eating something on the surface of the wood. so, it will just come back. wait a week or so, then you can siphon it off.
