Nebraska Cornfed
I have Colombian tetra in my 40 gallon. They have spawned and are doing well. I have two that have developed strange spots. I tried to quarantine, but they are fast and can’t catch them. I have a dense plant load so hard to catch. Here are some photos. I did treat the whole tank with trio regimen and no change. Community tank with Corey cats and a few zebra danio. They eat normally and otherwise are active. Any thoughts?
Biotope Biologist
Edit: talking about the shimmery spots? Looks as if those scales are dulling with age? Doesn’t look like ich or any fungal infection. Edited February 3 by Biotope Biologist
Nebraska Cornfed
That makes sense. I was worried about fungal. Thank you for your reply. I figure a good sign they vigorous and active.
