Did a round of ich-x with water temp of 75, followed by maracyn, still have ich or? Trying fix-ick now with water temp at 80. On day 4 and not working to cure it yet? Any help is appreciated

Are the spots raised or flat if there raised then you more than likely dealing with epistylis that feed's off of  gram negative bacteria on the slime coat of your fish and spreads more quickly at higher temperatures the most effective treatment is maracyn2 in food feeding a small amount twice a day for 7 days and dose the tank with ick X if the spots are  flat then  I would treat with ick X and aquarium salt 1 table spoon for 5 gallons as ich causes massive electrolyte loss and salt adds back in essential electrolytes

I thought it was epistylis that’s why I did the lower temp and ich-x followed by the regular maracyn I’m the water (couldn’t find the 2) I’ll try to find maracyn2 and try mixing it in the food.

How long did you continue Ick-X for AFTER last visible white spot observed?

That may certainly be the issue. The parasite is still alive in the tank after it falls off the fish. The lower the temp, the slower the life cycle and phases. You can only eradicate ick in one of it's phases. (I believe it is after they multiply, hatch, and are free-swimming looking for a host)

I believe the directions are to treat for at least 3 days after there are zero visible signs of ick on a fish. Personally, I do a full week AFTER the last visible sign. But I also do this at 81 degrees, which speeds up the life cycle. If you are at 75, I would do longer than a week.
