Elyse
I have been looking into possibly using a CO2 reactor for my larger planted aquariums...but I currently use fluval fx4 and fx6 canister filters on those tanks, which this tubing doesn't really work with reactors I've seen. Do I have to buy a separate canister filter for the CO2? Which one would work well with the sera reactor 500?
Mmiller2001
The inventor of the Yugang reactor uses a FX4. I can PM you the link if interested.
Elyse
I'm thinking I'll just use a separate canister filter for the CO2 reactor just to keep it simple. Anyone have suggestions for cheaper canister filters that would work with the sera flore 500 reactor? It says to use 5/8" tubing...
anewbie
You can use a water filter - i used one that is 2 feet tall with a pump - it was aruond $80 to put together with all the pieces. You can also use a horizontal pvc tube as @Mmiller2001did - either way make sure to leak test it.
