Schuyler
Recently she of the fish have had bacterial issues so I've gone ahead and done a deep cleaning. Bacterial infection on tail fin: Hungry males trying to figure out if food comes out of this black box next to the tank: Tank before: I cut the anubias in the corner because it was starting to fuse the two sections in the back and the roots seemed to be blocking the output from the filter. The roots seriously got long: And grew into the sponge: The spring tails are thriving up there: I wonder how many of them get eaten. I also wonder if I could add any isopods up there too. The filter floss, tray, and sponge were all covered in dirt and muck. I cleaned them off and things seemed to flow better after. While the riverbank segments were removed I noticed that there were some fry: I suspect they use the edge for cover because I haven't noticed them at all before this. I'll be sure to add more small food for them from now on. The tank after: Fingers crossed that this cleaning, more water changes, and some kanaplex will help her recover quickly like the others.
Schuyler
The guy I originally got my fish from had some trouble, lost all his F Gresensi, got a new pair, got a bunch of fry, and then lost his female. So I traded him once of my females for a few of his fry so we could mix up the generic some.
