End of the tubbing season.

I have tub outside with endlers in it. They’ve survived a few dips to 50 with the cool summer here. The 48 has me concerned. I can’t believe it’s almost time to put away the tub, my iris didn’t even flower this year. What happened to summer?

Shoot... I think we got at least a month before we see actual cloud cover regularly here.  I'm not going to be excited when it's time to drop in some heaters, that's for sure.

Wow... 90 in the day and 56 at night.  Do you use AC or does closing the house in the morning keep it cool enough?

I'm in central Kentucky and have really been surprised at how cool the water in my 110 stock tank pond has been -- a couple of weeks ago it was in the 60's mid-day! It warmed back up some, but it's not going to make it as late in the season as last year unless I drop a heater in. 

I started pulling out guppies yesterday. I'm going to leave platies for another couple of weeks and the white clouds and goldfish until November, probably. It seemed like a short season here--my water lily just started blooming a couple of weeks ago.
