I've never been to any kind of show or fish meet-up, not even to my local club, shamefully. What should I expect? There are many speakers you can buy a pass to watch. There is a hospitality room all the YouTube folks hang out and refreshments included in the pass. I just go to the main sale room. It’s a huge vendor room where tons of folks set up stands selling fish, plants decor event merch etc. In the back of that room are all the tanks for competition show fish. The actual schedule of events and what is happening each day at what time is in the Keystone clash website. https://www.keystoneclash.com Club members get free admission. The two clubs I belong to host this event so I’m not sure what base admission is but probably 5-10$ if anything. It should say on the site. Walk the sales floor before purchasing. Prices and quality vary. Take cash. Many vendors accept PayPal, Venmo, Zelle but not all. Last year @Rikostan was there with the FishFam gang handing out Aquarium coop merch. Are you going this year @Rikostan? I went Saturday last year. I want to go Saturday this year but the vendor I buy most of my stuff from who also buys fish I cannot rehome for wholesale since the parents mostly came from her. It doubles her stock and offloads what I cannot locally offload. She said she would only be attending 1 day. I’m hoping it’s Saturday. I’ll let you know what day. All in all it’s crazy fun and spending the entire afternoon with an entire building full of Fish Nerms is an experience I would not pass on. My LFS had some representation there last year, but I found out about it too late to attend. It will be my third year attending and I've seen the event get better and better each year. It's not massive like the aquashellas are, but IMHO it is a better type of event. Last year saw about 65 people from the Youtube Fishfam community attend, this year we are looking at roughly 100 of us. If you'd like to meet a ton of small channels from youtube and get some know some amazing people, this is the event for you. The fishshow is one of the largest in North America, they have a ton of great speakers lined up, and more vendors than ever before too. I always come home incredibly motivated from the event and usually with a few more friendships too. The people are incredibly inclusive and welcoming and honestly it is one of the highlights of my year! {EDIT} I should clarify... There are hundreds of people that go to this event.
