Flying fox 6523
I got lucky to have 2 Albino Cory's hatch without doing anything but Now they are in a 30 gal from the 75 gal aquarium, I have the tank wall full of eggs, & I was wondering how to save them without taking them off the glass, like take something like a craft mesh & put it over the eggs where when they hatch can drop to the floor of the tank & grow, has any 1 else done this ? How would I attach it to the wall you ask ? with suction cups take 4 ( 1 on each corner do you think that would work to keep them from eating the eggs, cause the 2 babies I have has grown really fast in a month, so they are doing really good.
Guppysnail
GREAT THINKING! I did something similar when starting my albino colony a few years back. What worked for me to not remove from glass is I cut down one of the mesh breeder net boxes. The plastic posts keep the mesh far enough from the eggs that when they hatch they can survive in the mesh until I can release them. I also replace the mesh it comes with using a fine mesh I cut a small hole in the top portion that is hopefully above the water to feed the fry. if not I don’t cut a feed hole so fish can’t get in and just release the fry after hatch to hide in plants.

That's what I was thinking, being I have some craft plastic mesh I could make it where they would be safe till they hatched & Just turn them lose to find a place to hide under the driftwood.
