Well I'm at it again after 3 months

Yep you heard right, I'm redoing the 75 again, Why? You may ask, cause I wanted
something better looking & I didn't like how the power head pumps sat in it on
the under gravel filter after I hooked them up to the tubes so it was time to change
it & to do that I had to tare it all apart so I figured it's time for a new look anyway.

So I started taring it apart yesterday & drained most of the water caught all the fish
put them in the 30 gal with a 100 gph hob I put the 2 Cory fry in there & they are
enjoying all the left overs that is left on the floor so every 1 is doing good & happy
I have a auto feeder on it so I don't forget to feed them while working on the tank.

So what was the problem with the under ground filter & the power heads on why
I had to change it to work ? well when I set it up I had the 2 hobs going & that
was doing a good job BUT how i set the tubes on the ugf was not going to work
cause I come up with a new cover for the whole tank & the hobs wouldn't work.

I took those off made my cover for the tank & hooked up the power heads to
the ugf & they were facing the front glass & with a 130 gph pumps that isn't
a good thing so I said, that's not going to work so I had to tare it all down &
now I'm just now starting to get it all back together so by tonight it'll be done.

But B-4 I show you what it looks like let me get it all setup & running good &
I'll put a video on here for you to see & then you will see why this had to be
done, it's going to look a whole lot better & a lot quieter & maybe look bigger.

I was also listening to Cory with his live videos & that also helped with the
redoing of the whole setup so that is a + on what it will look like & how it
will stay a lot cleaner longer & to me that's a HUGE bonus concept there.

Well that's it for now till I get done & show you the work I've been doing.

Looking forward to seeing the new set up. I totally empathize with you. I’ve set up tanks trying something different a bunch of times only to realize a few months later it didn’t work and have to redo them again. The plus side is every little thing you wish you would have done differently gets to be done a different way also.

I have to say it's a job to do on a 75 gal & a bad back, but I agree on
the + side of getting to redo it till you get it like you want it to be
I just hope this will be the last time I have to do it for a while.

I've got a video in the works on the final outcome of how it turned out
that I have to piece together but it's going to be a few days B-4 I can
put it on the post here so just keep your eyes open for it. thank you.
