Tim513
I am sorry if this is a duplicate, but I did look first! Do blue rams need to be kept as part of a school, or are they ok as just a pair in a community tank with other species? I have seen conflicting information and wanted to get feedback from people who may actually keep them in their own tanks. Thanks for any help!

Mine do well with neocaridina, CPD, snails and bn pleco. They have the most awesome personalities. 1

A ram does not care if it's by itself or with others. I would however recommend if keeping a trio or a group, keep 1 male to 2 females. This will lower aggression. It is also based off of the tank size.
