Maeve
Is this anubias rot? This plant has been slowly dying over the last couple weeks The rhizome has turned brown and squishy and the leaves are falling off at the top they slowly turned yellow as they died off. I have had the tank running for about 6 weeks All my plants came from aquarium co-op. And so far my tank has done really well aside from this anubias and another Anubis nana petite that looks like it might not be doing as well. Solstice_Lacer
Typically a squishy anubius rhizome is no good. It happened to a few of mine but thankfully didn't spread. If there is any non squishy rhizome, you may be able to save it by removing all the rot.
nabokovfan87
Yeah that Rhizome doesn't look healthy. 😞 I would keep a close eye on it, maybe move it to a jar. Some people say the rot spreads in disease form, it could just be a section that went through some trauma.
