The endler guy
Hi one of my other hobbies is modern military history, and due to models being expensive and me being abysmal at painting them I build my own models out of Lego!
The endler guy
Uh-1B the “bushranger” is an Anzac modified uh-1h “Huey” gunship. It was designed to help clear out communist north Vietnamese from landing areas it is armed with 2 mini guns, 2 rocket pods (7 rockets per pod), and 2 door mounted dual m60 machine guns unlike the transport model, this only holds a crew of 4 (1 pilot, 1 copilot/ gunner, and 2 door gunners) Rockets/ dual m60 (don’t worry about the other side, it definitely is 100% finished!) interior cockpit gunner optics M8 greyhound, a armored car developed during ww2 by the USA M8 Scott (also can be converted into a m4 Stuart) also developed in ww2 as a tank destroyer/ howitzer motor carriage loader, commander, and gunner 2
The endler guy
Finally my tribute to those who died on both sides of the Vietnam conflict (the war that never should have happened) Many people died over 100000 north Vietnamese, 20000 south Vietnamese, and over 200000 civilian casualties and a little under 60000 us combatants and many more mia. In addition many would have their lives of them and their children ruined due to use of defoliants (agent orange and napalm), as well as many combatants young lives being ruined due to ptsd and physical scaring. that being said, I have the greatest respect for those who serve, and put their lives on the line to fight for what is right. vehicles, pbr (petrol boat river), oh-6 (loach, not named after fish sadly but light observation helicopters) pbr m16’s in the onboard armory armaments: 1 dual mounted browning 50 cal in 360 turret, 1 m60, 1 rear 50 cal loach- armaments: 1 mini gun or 1 repeating grenade launcher crew 2-4: 2 pilots, 2 crew (this model has 1 commander with a radio ) minigun/ amo box commander/ radio the crew would throw out colored smoke when enemy infantry were spotted, allowing for attack helis/ artillery to eliminate them 101st airborne (the screaming eagles) are probably best known for their antics in ww2, during the battle of the bulge, when their commander upon receiving the information that the Germans wanted them to surrender replied with the official response of “nuts!” they are a paratrooper regiment, and saw much action in the Vietnam conflict southern forces, were commonly armed with m14, m16, m60, and slr (anzacs) northern forces were armed with any weapons they could find/ were provided by the ussr the use of traps and tunnels were crucial in the northern forces success The iconic rpg was used against all types of armor, mortars are crucial in any army as a form of mobile light artillery 3

PineSong
Those are great, Endler guy! When my brother was little he would make little military WW2 and Vietnam scenes, and he later was in the Army and worked on Hueys. We didn't have Legos back then--the only part I remember how he made was that he made trees from pieces of plastic that model car parts came attached to, and pieces of kitchen sponge. I couldn't believe mom would give him a sponge to tear up into tree parts! We lived rough in 1972!

My dad was used for ballast for a Huey in Germany when he was in the army, when he was telling me how he was flying over Stuttgart (I think, I remember it started with an s) my little brother said, “you can’t be in the navy” (context, my older brother is in the naval academy, he naturally wants to be in the navy, and due to the fact that one of my younger brothers first words was the f word, we try to use everything to stop him from dropping the f bomb) because he thought my dad said stupid On 2/4/2023 at 9:17 AM, The endler guy said: Also see my Lego white phosphorus grenade hanging on my wall
Chick-In-Of-TheSea
My brother is making this right now. I think he's on about pg. 300 of the 600 page instruction manual. He said he has about 100 gears installed so far. That's a whole 'nother level to Legos! 😲
