What ph is this?

I just moved and I can’t tell the ph of the tap water what does it look like to you?in person it looks more like 8 but it could be between 7.4 and 7.8

I tested with the low range and it was clearly 7.6

id agree, it looked like7.4-7.8.

Sweet!  One day we'll just have a 6.5-7.5 test! Lol.

It's always tricky when it gets in that range you're in and having to verify between the two tests.

It is good for a very wide range of fish.  After you add wood you'll probably sit in the 7.2-7.4 range, which is great.  If you add something like seiryu stone it would buffer the water slightly, or aragonite sand (crushed coral as well), would put you in the 8.0+ range and into african cichlid territory.

That’s great cause I wanna keep some African cichlids and at some point some South American type fish.
