PaigeIs
Does anyone have any tips for cleaning the debris out of floating plants? By debris I refer to broken off leaves from other plants, dead leaves, etc. The big stuff is easy to pluck out by hand, but it's the little bits of debris that make my tank look messy. FLFishChik
I don’t have any floating plants, but would sort of “dipping” them in your tank water after a water change and giving them a gentle swish help with the debris?
Kurt Brutting
I have a small paint brush I use for brushing off leaves and roots so I then can scoop up the debris. I’ll also use a small cup so the debris flows in.
Brandon p
I don’t have that issue. The roots sometimes get a little messing but most of my tanks have some water movement so things don’t get things caught up in it. Only when I trim and a lose a few pieces. I also remove some of the top water plants when I work on the tanks. I want light to get to the bottom so that might be something. We have different plants yours is more stringy I only keep frogbit.
