The dreaded bladderwort.

I had bladderwort come in on a plant order.  This is some frustrating stuff.  After spending quite a bit of time picking and plucking I have decided to ditch the plants and use fire unless anyone has a better suggestion..

Bladderwort is a plant not a snail.  If it were bladder snails it would not be an issue.

What type do you have? I just bought 2 type for in my shrimp tank. A lot of types are not bad. Carnivorous but eating things like infusoria and microscopic fauna.

I’m newer to bladderwort but that looks like the humped bladderwort I bought for the shrimp tank. It’s actually a beautiful plant IMO. I originally found it in some Riccia fluitans I bought and loved it so bought more. Glass on the left is humped glass on right wild collected in Florida.

The gift that keeps on giving.  This stuff is worse than Duckweed.  I already pulled the Mayaca and put it in a Guppy pond.  Looks like everything is going to have to go.
