ange Posted October 21, 2020 Share Posted October 21, 2020 It depends on the hood. Some hoods (mostly the Marineland ones) take a bit more effort to make a light work. A lot of people that I know use either DIY lids made of greenhouse siding or glass tops and those are usually very easy to fit a light over. Depending on the material the light may diffuse some, though with Fluval 3.0s that's almost never going to cause anything negative. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
