It seems to be indigested bloodworms. I fed them bloodworms in the morning and saw this later at night.

My fish are currently battling tapeworms. I saw this in one of the tank, is it some sort of worm infested poop? Is it plant matter? Dragonfly larvae? Thanks for any advice

Title says it all, I have rainbows so they need a hood. Can you use a fluval 3.0 with a hood? Thanks for any input or advice!
