Cinnebuns
I got this tiger lotus from ACO. It's doing amazingly well and I couldn't be happier. My question is about how they reproduce. I realized I know how all my other plants propagate but not this one. As much as I love the plant, I'd rather not have a 2nd so I would probably sell it. Does it create another bulb maybe? Should I be looking under the substrate for another? Does it run it like crypts maybe? TYIA

Maybe I wait to see a new one pop up then can pull the bulb out.
KBOzzie59
No bulb on the new plants. Just snip the runner and pull out.
Odd Duck
They will sometimes pop out a new plant on the bulb and sometimes produce runners. Wait until there are roots if the new plant arises off the bulb. The runner will have roots by the time you see leaves if it stays under the substrate. If the runner isn’t under the substrate, clip it away once you see roots.
